Trying out a new style with this one. For those of you who don't know, I'm working on a personal project revolving around Victor Hugo's novel "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" to help out with pretty much everything about cartoon art: character design, style, lighting, scenery, action poses, etc. This is the first sketch of many for this little project of mine. I like the style and the basic design, but things are definitely still subject to change. This one was done in prismacolors and mechanical pencil.
